Training and Workshops

Drawing on 20 years of teaching in museums, Jenn develops and facilitates dynamic and participatory team-building and leadership advancement trainings. Her teaching practice is grounded in the belief that conversation helps people better understand themselves and others. To that end, employs a variety of learner-centric techniques, including Visual Thinking Strategies. Custom training sessions can incorporate discussions with works of art as a tool to build empathy and communication, while also providing an authentic opportunity for personal and group reflection.

MusEd Mastermind

MusEd Mastermind brings together museum education colleagues to support one in achieving individual professional goals and tackling real world museum challenges. This dynamic and collaborative approach to professional development will leverage the collective wisdom and experiences of the group. As the facilitator, I will guide the group, asking powerful questions, facilitating discussions, ensuring the group remains focused on its objectives. In a small group environment participants support one another through the individual and collective challenges faced as museum education leader.  One of the significant advantages of such a group learning environment is the opportunity to receive varied insights and constructive feedback from peers, often leading to new perspectives and innovative solutions. And equally, such a group program strives to build a supportive peer network, eliminating feelings of isolation within one’s institution and strengthening the field.

New Cohorts are launching soon for museum education leaders at all levels.
