This workshop includes two sessions: April 15 and April 29 from 12-2pmEST, plus optional Q&A hour May 6 12-1pmEST.
Curiosity is one of the most underutilized—and most powerful—leadership skills. In environments marked by complexity, change, and competing perspectives, leaders who lead with curiosity create stronger relationships, better thinking, and more resilient teams. Rather than rushing to solve problems or defend positions, curious leaders slow down, ask thoughtful questions, and listen deeply to understand what is really happening before moving forward.
This three-part learning series explores curiosity as a practice in leadership communication. Participants will examine how curiosity shapes conversations, influences trust and psychological safety, and supports more effective collaboration and decision-making. Through reflection, dialogue, and practice, leaders will learn how curiosity shifts communication from telling to learning, from reacting to responding, and from uncertainty to insight.
Participants will also receive an exclusive collection of resources specifically chosen for museum professionals.
